| 1. Insert the Family Forest®
New World Edition or Leadership Edition CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive ( and install it, if it has not
been previously installed).
2. Open Progeny Family Explorer 4.1.
3. Go to the Family Page of the person who will be the starting point of the book.
4. Click on the Reports pull-down menu.
5. Select Register.
6. Click on the Layout tab, pick a more robust word process than Word Pad from the list (if you have one of the choices on your computer), and click on Print.
7. You can watch the persons counter to see how many different people will be in the book.
8. After the book formats, go to the end of the book and place the cursor below the word Index.
9. If you are using Microsoft Word, click on the Index pull-down menu, and select Index and Tables.
10. Click on OK, and your book is finished.
